Anger and Hate have NO place in America
“I’m protecting my family from the rainbow flag” while my child has a needle in their arm to keep from losing hope and to deny who she is.
“Don’t say gay in Florida” while your classmates are crying in their beds tonight wondering how they can change who they are to fit in and be accepted by society, now fearing for their lives and whether or not they’ll have a safe space to sleep.
“I don’t like the rainbow being a symbol of unnatural acts” blah blah while your child you claim to love hears how you hate who they are and what they cannot control. Do you not understand that who you support and what you say is seen and heard by your children and makes them hate themselves?
What’s the point in clinging to your archaic systems of oppression that reduce women you love into incubators, kills people, oppresses entire races and classes of people, and follows a book that actively promotes what you are trying to legislate out of the country?
Why are we allowing a court to determine what we’re allowed and not allowed to do based in a single religious system that is supposed to be removed from the public sphere?
