I agree. It’s difficult pouring your heart out and getting rejected. Good thing is one person’s rejection is another’s reason to not pull out a bottle of pills and end it all…and that’s what makes it all meaningful.

I haven’t made any money really writing, but I view it as a way to increase skill and to make some form of impact on the world, no matter how small. I’d love to make tons of money, but I’d rather make someone smile and make nothing from it. I guess it’s all perspective.

You’re right about the constant researching. I never stop looking for and saving ideas for my next piece. It’s like an obsession!
